Outsider in the dream world

[Super Ape]

Someone mentioned that the characters in his LDs seemed to know that he
was somehow an "outsider", and it reminded me how that´s been the case
in several of my few LDs too. Actually they treat me like i did once belong
to that dream world, but i left long ago and they weren´t expecting me to come back already. Some seem really happy to see me "again", although
they also all know i´m not "supposed to be back yet". Some DCs have
tried to help me hide, so that other, less friendly ones wouldn´t find out
i´m there!
Does anyone else recognize this? I really don´t know what it all means..
