@Cid
Sorry Cid but that's not the correct answer.
@Magnus
That's exactly correct.

Here's a relatively tough one...
- Make a square that is cut into 9 equal sections.
It looks like this.
_ __ _
|_|_|_|
|_|_|_|
|_|_|_|
- Put the numbers 1 to 9 in the squares so that each row and each column and each full diagonal would all add up to the same number.
-------
(Here's the harder one...)
- Make a square that is cut into 49 equal sections and do the same as you did above.(Put the numders 1 - 49 in it so that you get the same sum from adding the numbers of any column, row, or diagonal)
The square looks something like this.
__ _ __ _ _ _ _

2 - 7 - 6
9 - 5 - 1
4 - 3 - 8
(it's not hard. Just put the 5 in the middle and try)
I'm gonna think about the harder one

Here's a tip for you Sandra.
There is a pattern you can use for the second one. Study the first one you made and look for any pattern you might see there. Once you find it, you can use that pattern to solve the second one. In fact, if you know that pattern, you could solve the same problem even if I asked you to fill out a 99 X 99 square.

(Here's a much easier one than my last riddle... )

As of the moment... there are 7 squares in the picture. Move 3 line segments so that you will be left with only 5 squares. (You cannot remove the line segments. You must move them.)

I wanted to ask this question already Wednesday, but I didn't. It's a bit chaotic in my head I believe.
It's a question about the harder one.
Is it the point to put the number 1 to 9 in the squares or the number 1 to 49. Maybe it's a stupid question,
It's probably not the answer where you were looking for but this can.

You should put the numbers 1 - 49 in the second time.
And I can't see the answer clearly... but I think the answer you gave for the last riddle is wrong.

( I just realized I never congratulated Sandra for answering my riddle... Sorry about that. Belated congratulations anyway. )
No one has still answered these riddles of mine... (I think the first unanswered riddle is too hard... Here's a hint... There is a pattern of placing the numbers that can help you solve it, if you know that pattern.)

Anyway... here's an easy riddle.
What shows up once in a minute, twice in a moment, and never in a hundred years?

New riddle...
You are given 8 water samples in test tubes. One of these 8 water samples has a deadly poison in it and you want to find out which.
You are given 3 kits that can tell you if a water source is contaminated with the poison. It can tell you if a drop of water from any water source is contaminated with that poison. Each of these 3 kits however, can only be used once.
How will you be able to determine which of the 8 water samples has the poison?
