In a dream a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away lol), I was at my school, but the entire school was crouded with people, then this guy in a green turtle-neck shirt and khakis comes out of nowhere with an AK-47 and unloads into me. I twitch with every bullet and feel like I have indigestion. He just walks away like nothing happened. It didn’t wake me up until a few seconds later, with a slight stomach ache
The wierd thing is though, it’s been like 5 years and I still remember that part so well…
I was in my house and this guy I hadn’t seen since grade school was standing in front of me with a look of rage in his eyes. I told him he needed to calm down, but he raised a gun up in my face and shot me. I started falling slowly to the ground. I fell face first and I was laying on my stomach. I then rose out of my body, and I was looking down at my dead body and the guy was shooting me more times to make sure I was dead. I felt peace, even though I was watching this, and then I woke up.
When I was really little, I was in some sort of city, as if I were waiting at a bus stop in new york for school. My older brother’s friend named Damian was chasing me and everyone was just watching not doing anything. I remember he shot me straight into my left shoulder, going all the way through my body to my right shoulder, I could feel the coldness of the shot and I felt it pierce through flesh and tissue. I then woke up and shared the storie with my brother who had no comment.
I thought this thread was about actually being shot so my comment doesn’t really apply, never happened to me in a dream. However I was once dismembered in a dream with gas-powered hedge clippers.
I am sitting in front of a guy with a gun. I too have a gun. The guy is laughing about something that offends me. I point the gun at him to shoot him. I click the trigger. Nothing happens. I realize I still have my safety on. He sees me sshooting as a threat and slams his clip into his gun and I flip my safety off to point it at him, but he pushes my gun arm aside with his hand and shoots me right in the stomach an inch above the belly button and then points his gun to the right side of my head and fires. It doesn’t go out the other end. I wrestle my gn free and shoot him 8 times in the chest and run off. I have alot of anxiety, and as I reach my hand to the side of my head, my fingers come back covered in my own blood. I wake up and check my head, just to make sure.
I too have been shot in dreams on multiple occasions. For me it is an awful experience. I always get this weird, fragile feeling of my flesh being torn apart by the bullets, and wake up sad.
I shot myself in a dream once, in the chest. I didn’t feel anything at all - I think I might’ve been dead before the bullet even hit me. I heard the gunshot, though. Other than that, I’ve been threatened with a gun a few times, but the would-be shooter always hesitates long enough for me to take their gun away from them.
I got shot in a dream a week ago.
I was at a party, and I felt someone poking me in the back. I didn’t know that it was a gun, so I started walking towards the exit. Then I was shot through the spine. I fell to the floor, and my body went totally numb.
While I was writing this dream down, I realized that I hadn’t woken up yet, and pushed the pencil through the palm of my hand.
Haven’t been shot yet as far as I can recall just now … but I have beaten someone to death (just last night actually).
Don’t worry, I wasn’t Lucid… i’d never want to do a thing like that it was quite horrid though in the dream it was probably just a way of getting a character out of the scene.
Being shot in a dream was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Ever since I have been shot and died in a dream, I am not afraid of death. I do not have to worry about trying to live as long as I can. Its not like I go around trying to get killed, I just embrace the cycle of life.
haven’t shot ennyone but i’ve been stabbed twice since the start of my lucid dreaming “career”
before that i’ve been crushed by “the end of the world”(some sort of slow-moving meteorites that occured at the destruction of earth, dunno what it was about:P)
but it didn’t actually hurt me, nor did they instantly wake me up or make me lucid, the last stabbing kept bleeding tho…
I’ ve been blown up by a nuclear bomb in a dream once. It was quite a weird sensation- when the blastwave hit me, everything went black. I felt like I was curled up tight in a fetal position on the floor, and then tipped over on my side.
i know it seems like a waste, but i was curious; i basically after acheiving a state of lucidity made a gun appear in my gun, swall the gun towards teh end of my mouth, and fire… i woke up immediatly and it felt like my whole body fell asleep for like 4 seconds… it was cool… but then agian kinda scary too.

YEA it was awsome…some gay girl was shooting me in my driveway but i dodged everyone of them then i found my own gun and shot her in the leg
