Basically what I do is get in a perfectly conformable position and relax. I close my eyes and I clear my mind. Then when I feel completely relaxed I picture very simple repetitive images in my head. The idea of this is to make it seem like you are already LDing but your not. I like to picture something like a line of dots with the first dot moving at a fast pace in a circular path to the back of the line (I use better ones but they are hard to explain). If you do this without thinking to hard and not making any movements the thing your imaging will start to seem real and you are Lucid! DON’T GET EXITED or you will wake up. After a while of this loose Lucidity I get into a deeper sleep and I am done.[/color]
Hm got nothing special to do tonight, so If I don’t forget then I will give it a try. But I am very poor at LDing so I guess it won’t work for me, at least not for the very first try and I tried VILD already.
But I am always open for new ideas
That is nearly exactly what I try to do, but it never works for me. My problem is always visualizing the image but I use ridiculously complex images… I’ll try that tonight!
I tried this this morning and it actually started working. It helps walking straight into a lucid dream. If my girlfriend would’nt have woken me up I would still be dreaming right now
I don’t understand what you’re meant to image. You say dots but could you be a more specific on this part? You say it becomes clear and you’re in a LD, So the dots become clear and you then become lucid. And this is normal Time?
That is how I do it… It works for me about 90% of the time… great method.
Mine I get sleepy and relaxed. Close my eyes when I start seeing the HI I know I’m getting close.
I had a short LD earlier today doing this.
