In no particular order, other than that it turned out that they became longer and longer:
- God - to ask about the Bible.
- Buddha - to learn it from the source.
- Karl Marx - to hear him explain communism.
- The guy who discovered fire - to try and communicate.
- Niels Bohr - because he looks like a nice guy to talk about chemistry with.
- Orvar Oddr - because he was a viking king who grew up where I live, and to practise my Old Norwegian.
- Leifr Eiríksson - because he was the first Norwegian to discover America, and to practise my Old Norwegian.
- Snorri Sturluson - because he wrote much literature to preserve knowledge of the Viking Age, and to practise my Old Icelandic.
- Ivar Aasen - to thank him deeply for trying to save the Norwegian language, and to learn both Norwegian and Old Norse grammar from him.
- Charlemagne, to tell him about the song “Sacré Charlemagne” (Damn Charlemagne), and to practise my French - if he spoke Modern French, snd to learn how being king of France was like.
