An easter egg is something hidden within a game, application, operating system, movie, book, and even a website. Post any easter eggs here, so we can find them too!
And... one other thing....
Title of page?

I knew a few easter eggs for Retarded Animal Babies flash series...but i wouldn't recommend them to you.
Well, there's this one E.E. that comes to mind now...
In Mario Forever(game),when you are at the save select screen,go to the right to pick a power-up in exchange for lives.Jump on the far right two bricks, after he Beet. Then jump as high as possible to the right.
There's a bonus world.Enjoy!
And there was a God Of War one...at the end of the game, where you have to get to the throne,in olympus, there's two giant statues.Destroy them(takes long enough) and you will get a secret.

MAP30 of doom 2.
noclip through the gigantic goat skull.
It reveals the "real" boss: John Romero's severed head on a pole.
Also, it makes a noise in the beginning...play it ine reverse to hear him say this:
To win the game you must kill me, John Romero.

the first ones that comes to mind are The Legend of Zelda easter eggs, but im sure everyone would know about those by now.
oh yea, there's also a Gears of War 2 easter egg thats pretty funny. once you get in the hive, chapter 5 'The Best Laid Plans', after rejoining with Dom and Baird you go to the place where there are some ammo boxes, near the really long staircase that goes down. anyway theres a pedestal in the center along the wall. Shoot it with the shotgun or something and it should reveal a toaster. pressing X will push the toast down. it will pop up and Marcus will shout "Who wants toast?". If someone (i think Dom) is near, they will shout "I like 'em crispy."
hehe, its just so randomly funny, being in the middle of the enemy threshold and all

Haha,i will try that,download!
I just remembered a GTA:Vice City easter egg.
You have to go to that news building,in cecond city, right near a bridge.
Up on the helipad, head to the corner to the nearest building.
There,jump through the window,yesb that's the secret,to reveal the E.E.
Oh,and there was one more,a man with concrete on his feet in the water, but i forgot where exactly.

I always add an easter egg to my programs....
for example...
in my program, "Reality Check.exe", if you double click the icon in the tray 10 times, a debug menu will appear. There are 3 functions: Fail, adjust timer odds, and easter egg.
If you click "easter egg", a message box will appear with the following text:
"If you were looking for an easter egg, you didn't find one. Wait... this is an easter egg, darn it!"
Also, in my program "Mew Web Developer Advanced" (named for obvious reasons ) If you happen to find the secret menu in there, there's many hidden functions. Including:
"Thanks ^-^" - Inserts "<meta name="generator" content="Mew Web Developer Advanced">" where the cursor is.
"Eggay.txt" - If the file open is named "eggay.txt" it prints, "igpay atinlay!" where the cursor is.
"Missingno." - A message box appears, saying, "Muhahaha! Easter egg!" It then Prints "<b>OMG SCARY EASTER EGG!</b>" where the cursor is.
If only I could release my programs...

Anyways, I really don't know too many Easter Eggs... but in the video game "We Ski" there's a hidden course called the "Yeti" where you can get your picture taken with the Yeti itself...
Yeah, when I play games, either they don't have Easter Eggs or I don't find them...

That's ok.
I question how people find easter eggs anyways...

The Hungry Grunt appears at first in Halo 1, then in Halo 3.
They are both at the last stage.

I'm a big cloverfield fan
if you listen closely to the sound at the end of the movie, its actually a message backwards saying "it's still alive"
at the very VERY end when the guy and girl are sitting in the ferris wheel car, you can see something crash in the water... which is a sattelite sent into space by a company called Tagruato Jp. Here's the website (I think) http://www.tagruato.jp
