classic rock is my favorite…in fact it the only KIND of music i like. beside gorillaz lol
:spinning: pownage.

I got a strange list; lot of different genres, and I can’t choose on a ranking but these are my favourites;

Flogging Molly, Supertramp, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones, Rusted Root and AC/DC but there are so many others… how can you not like bands like Queen, the Beatles, R.E.M., Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton etc.

moved to an existing music topic, it wouldn’t be practical to have separate topics for every band and musician.

Does anyone like David Bowie’s music?

I love him

Rock, Classic Rock/Prog Rock/ Metal, Classic Heavy metal, Video Game music, some techno, little rap.

Some of my favorite songs (not sure if you can embed youtube videos here, so Ill give links):

Ok I’ll add some more artists I like.

Apart from David Bowie, I like The Fratellis, Eels, perhaps Third Eye Blind, I need to get into Gogol Bordello, as well as Iggy Pop. For feel good I like dubstep I guess, but prefer music that isn’t all about making you feel good mindlessly (Dubstep and music that is only synthesised). I also like The Beatles, although I’m not so into them anymore.

I need to find some more music. But at the moment I really just listen to David Bowie, and the odd other song.

I can really enjoy all types of music depending on the situation.

Currently, I’m into more pop and dance type music due to being around drama kids and attending impromptu in and out of school dance parties.

Two years ago you would find me listening strictly to alternative.

Right now I listen to anything really that my friends show me. Lots of punk rock, lots of dance, some 80’s, some 90’s some techno, etc.

My favourite artist? That’s gotta be Mika :content:

Over the past few years? (no particular order)
Deadmau5 (about a month before he hit an annoying level of popularity in my circle)
Marianas Trench (A Canadian punk band, still one of my favourites)
Mika
Lady Gaga
Kesha
ABBA (don’t ask. It’s catchy, okay?)
Metallica (brief, grade 6)
REM (Brief, grade 7)
AC/DC
Nirvana
Coldplay
All American Rejects
Finger 11 (Canadian alt rock band)

I have VERY different tastes than a lot of people here

I love rock, but especially hard rock, and even metal.
My favourite bands are Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page and John Bonham are like my idols), Aerosmith and Deep Purple (I deeply admire Ian Paice), and of course Nirvana. I also love Pearl Jam, The Who (Keith Moon…), The Rolling Stones, The Pixies, Scorpions, Rush Rainbow, Metallica and Kiss. From what I’ve heard, I also like Slayer, Guns N’ Roses, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Dream Theater.
My favourite instrument? Drums! My favourite drummers? John Bonham, Keith Moon, Ian Paice, Dave Grohl and Neil Peart.
Yeah, I know, not really usual for a 17 year old girl!
I wish I was born before the 70’s, 'cause there was real music back then!

I like 70s rock and anything experimental or ambient. Pink Floyd are my favourite and they epitomise my tastes. Others I like.
Neil Young
Leonard Cohen
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Bruce Springsteen
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Radiohead
Elbow
Joe Walsh
Brian Eno
Harold Budd
Morrissey
The Smiths
New Order
Spiritualized
Sigur Ros
The Who

I have a pretty mixed taste in music, I dance so I listen to a little bit of hiphop, I also love relient k, all time low, all-american rejects, death cab for cutie, never shout never, and alot of swedish music, like håkan hellström and movits (i could go on forever on this one, but I don’t think it’s really interesting to you so I’ll spare you the reading). For the moment I listen alot to jack johnson, and i also loved good charlotte when i was younger but we kinda grew apart…
