When I try to log on to chat, it says "Attempted to load sandbox" or something like that.
Current LD goal(s): laying on the clouds and gazing at the sky -sigh-

It's difficult to establish what is wrong without the actual error message being quoted. I know of nothing related to IRC that should cause this and you didn't say if you were using the java chat. It sounds like a client error.
Can you copy and paste the error message, and say what client you are using please.

Oh that one, joy. When the box pop's up when you click "Join" it says something like "Are you sure you want to block?" I know no one reads it, but you're suppose to click no instead of yes. XD

Given the error and Eilatan's response it sounds like you've blocked the java app from running and need to unblock it. I don't use the same configuration you do so I can't really help with the details. The other option is to use another chat client, mibbit for example should allow you to connect.

I've checked if I had blocked it, but it was still running.
