Darxide’s EFT Lucid Dream Induction Technique

Ok, last night I did this, didn’t have an LD, but when I woke up I had basically perfect recall! Of course then I went back to sleep and forgot all of it

It really does! I had another lucid dream with this last night. It’s just a bummer my alarm clock ended it after 5 minutes. haha All well, there’s way more where that came from. :cheesy:

Nope. :cheesy: I understand why you might think that though. I recommend doing a Google search for ‘why EFT works’ or ‘how EFT works’. It goes a lot deeper into your mind than just a plain old mantra like MILD. This technique is like MILD on steroids. A good indicator of how well this works is the fact that I haven’t done a single RC in waking (or dream) life for a couple weeks now. I haven’t been keeping a dream journal and I haven’t been doing WBTB and I still have had about 4 lucid dreams in just the last few days.

I never had this kind of success on plain old MILD. :cheesy:

Exactly. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Although, generally I see people having success with this much faster than it takes them to have success with MILD.

I believe the moderator merged the topics. ;]

EFTILD works for me.

Keep doing it every night consistently and you’re bound to have results. The fact that it boosted your dream recall is a good sign. :content: [/b]

nope. it doesn’t work  two nights in a row now, exactly 0% success. it doesn’t work

i think that the problem is this… if MILD has ever worked for you, EFT will work for you, probably. in my case, MILD has possibly worked just once in a half a year. that’s why EFT fails as well. i fail at programming myself, which ever way it is. the base of this is MILD. so… yeah.

i don’t know if i’m going to keep trying, because this is useless. takes a really long time before bed and does nothing.

good luck to the rest of you who keep it up… and i envy all of you other guys that this works on

I’m doing this 3 nights in a row and I don’t have any special success then DR. But I don’t expect it to work in 3 days/night neither should you, I mean what tech works in 2 days?! And I have to say that I quit with WBTB, MILD, WILD and VILD just to see if this work and to see in what way it works…

But ok, it’s your decision! Cheers!

um, i think the creator pointed out that it worked quite fast for him. i recall hearing something like “and i got 2 LDs one night, then 4 the next…”… or am i wrong…?

i can keep trying… but it is kind of annoying :meh: plus i don’t know if i’m doing it right either. you’re supposed to press so you feel pain, is that the key…?

*avalinah doesn’t know much about EFT…

I’m not sure, but doesn’t matter… I mean everybody needs different time, right?

If you think that there’s no point then it’s maybe better not to forced it… LOL I didn’t know about EFT nothing, just like you and one of the first questions to myself was the same. But here’s the video that will explain you everything. Just focus on how is he tapping the points, the tech is not important here…

ah, thank you very much. i will check it out when i am home

keep me posted on your results please.

You’re welcome!

Of course! :content:

You still hav nt answered my questions…Ok here posting it again…

  1. Whether to keep eyes opened/closed while tapping body parts?
  2. While tapping Gamut points, whether to say affirmation?
  3. Whether to tap ring finger also? (u didnt mention in ur post)
  1. I don’t think that essential for success but maybe is better to keep them closed because it’s easier to focus on mantra and visualization…

  2. first time yes, then you hum some song to activate creative part of the brain and then count to 5 while tapping gamut point to activate logic part of the brain…

  3. for some reason you don’t need to tap ring finger… I don’t know why but in EFT as I saw you need to skip ring finger…

Thanks,
Yest tried the EFT technique but didnt hv any effect over dream. Maybe coz, i tapped even the ring finger.
I ll try again tonight and post the result.
Another Doubt,
How many times to do it before sleep? (Approx)
Should this be the last thing u do before sleep? I am also doing meditation in Conjunction with this method…

Give the time to tech…

It’ s suggested to do it as many times as you need to, or when you feel like you set intention… Once or twice should be enough, but if you feel like you need to repeat it again just do it…

It’s good to do it just before sleep, it leaves more impression…

Thanks So Much…

Just a question, when it says to do each point 10 times. Should you cycle through all of the points 10 times or say the mantra 10 times while staying on 1 point and move through them like that?

You should say mantra once peer each point and tap around 10 times peer point…

Well I tried it and I did notice an improvement in DR. I will admit I didn’t quite go through the whole tech such as the humming or taking a glass of water since I was already in bed and didn’t want to disturb the wife.

@avalinah: Well, if you’ve decided it won’t work since you’ve decided MILD won’t work then I doubt you’ll see much more progress. Autosuggestion based techs rely on intention and belief. If you feel that you won’t be able to do it then don’t stress too much about it. I’ll just say what dB_FTS did and give it some time. While the OP may claim instant and wondrous results, it’s obviously going to vary from person to person.

No. Not 4 lucid dreams a night. I had 4 lucid dreams the last few days. None last night, unfortunately. The most I had in a single night with this technique so far is 2.

I think your attitude is a lot of what is holding you back. You don’t believe it is possible, so that might be impairing your success. Also, I haven’t seen your form with this technique. Just like weight lifting, EFT has a certain ‘form’ and ‘pace’. If you do it wrong, it might affect results.

All I know is just because you go two nights with no success with ANYTHING doesn’t mean you should quit. The best things in life are worth working for. However, if you decide that this technique is not for you, that is your choice. It absolutely does work, when done correctly though.

Excellent link there, bro. Thanks for sharing. If it’s okay with you, I’ll put it in the main post for demonstration and give credit to you for finding it.

  1. I always keep mine open until I get to the part of the technique where it says to close them for a few seconds. I’d do it exactly as the EFT technique is laid out for best results. I’m not exactly sure why they do that in EFT, but it seems to work for me. haha

  2. Nope. You remain silent while tapping the gamut point.

  3. You’re supposed to skip the ring finger.

Also, if I recall, you were wondering how many times to do it before bed. I always do it only once. However, when I first started I did it as many as three times in one night. I’m not sure if that helped or not, but I seem to do alright with the technique being done just once. It doesn’t suck up as much time.

I think a lot of people here might be stressing too much about this and ‘trying too hard’ with this. The key point of this technique is to relax and not care about the results. That’s not to say you should have a half-ass attitude. State your affirmations with strong will and intent, while doing this, however not as hard as MILD. Then when you’re finished, take on the attitude of ‘well at this point we’ll just have to wait and see if it works or not.’ Don’t try and think about it while you’re falling asleep. Think about OTHER things and let yourself get distracted in all sorts of happy thoughts. It’s fine if the thought of lucid dreaming comes up on your way to sleep, but don’t let that be your main focus.

The key to success with this technique is balancing effort with ease.

Of course! It easier to spot it in main post… :content:

Tried again last night, had the weirdest dream where I was just hanging in space, like when you accidentally WILD into a non-REM dream. I was thinking about a paper I have due and other things in my life. I was actually thinking about things going on IRL, so I guess It’s a step in right direction for my awareness with this tech.

hrms now that I’ve had a chance to read about the technique. It sounds interested, and I will give a try, but probably not more than that. Just don’t feel it will fall into alignment with my personal style of lucid activation. However, I will be sure to post up anything resulting from the test of the technique.

Also, it is great to hear about the good experiences derived from the technique. I am always a fan of people finding ways that work for them to induce \ achieve lucidness.

Keep at it everyone!
