Hey everyone:) I recentally created a character as well, His name is Tallis:)
Here's a bit about him:
Name: Tallis
Age: 17
Gender: Boy >.>
Description: Tallis is a stubborn boy, and very mischievous. He likes to talk, while I'm talking to others. He is at times a bit slow, and sometimes shy. Sometimes XD

*To Mecha* I look forward to seeing the picture. Xenobiology is a (slight) hobby of mine. As such, I've been spending a disproportionate amount of time focusing on some of the creatures in my world than the actual cultures and the like.  As for my world's magic system, think of it like a big, wacky expansion to the Periodic Table and actual physics. It's still less complete than I might be able to make it sound, though.

Leijona: Hi Psycho and Tallis!  *to own MCs* It would be fun if you started to talk while I'm having a conversation.
Gan: It would be fun if you paid more attention to us. 
Leijona: *to BlueGecko and Chilam* What a nice surprise. After reading Psycho's post yesterday I thought "Well Chilam would be happy to see another shapeshifter".
Gan: 'ello there again! *hugs for everyone*
Leijona: *to BlueGecko* Yep, right now. Neila was shouting "Brace yourself!" and acting like my mindscape was about to be invaded by enemies when I read the bottom line and Gan was all like "Yehaaa distraction!". Yeah. My MCs are weird.
Gan: How weird is your mind that you are able to create weird characters, that's the question here.
Iron: *to Gan* Keep in mind that mine and Sheela's Plan B is always ready to be used if you should keep on talking the whole time. 
Gan: But none of you guys is talking anyways! 
Iron: Maybe we would if you stopped talking all the time.
Gan: Fine. Stage's yours. -_-
Gan: That's what I said no one is talking except for me!
Leijona: It seems like I have a MC who is highly more active than the others.

Chilam: *To Tallis* Any shapeshifter can't be too bad a person, right? I think I can transform into any animal, but not without a lot of research and tons of visualization. Some that I do know how to turn into sort of easily would be a cat, some sort of whitish sparrow thing, and my favorite, a dimorphodon. So basically, I can turn into a bunch of random unrelated animals. Anyway, can you literally turn into anything, like a lawnmower or something? *To Leijona* *slight sort of chuckle* You know me well.  I don't think Gecko's computer wants us here, though. It just bluescreened. . . .
Scout: Also, Tallis, I just want to point out (since our names aren't exactly dead give-aways), that all of us characters BlueGecko imagined are female, so you're not alone as a first character that's the opposite gender as your creator. Which seems like a random statement now that I already said it.
Chosovi: . . . Hey Iron, what's Sheela's Plan B? I've been feeling sort of weak lately, and Chilam and Scout haven't really been giving me much chance to talk. . . .
Chilam: *Gives Chosovi a blank, half avian, half rhamphorynchoid stare* . . . You never try to talk anyway! Gan, I think I understand your problem.
BlueGecko: I have a the feeling that this post will seem very random later, but I think I'd better leave before people start killing each other.

Tallis:*To Chilam* Thats my thoughts exactally;D Yes, I have powers like the wondertwins:P haha I'm able to change into anything, but I perfer to change into wovles, or other big preditors. The dimorphodon thing looks cool 0.0 *To Scout* haha I could imagine:) Psycho's planning on making a girl soon, we'll see how that goes:P

hi,i read about CALD and decided to try. my first character is a guy named ingvar, he is built like a kull from the inheritence series,but acts more like a wolf from the talisman. he doesnt know how old he is because he was captured by a circus when he was just a cub. he doesnt like violence but goes nuts when a friend is threatenned

Leijona: Why do I always get busy when there are new people around? *grumbles* Hello alLexX and Ingvar! *to Chilam* Oh noes! The Blue Screen of Death! 
Gan: *to Chilam* Why are we the bad guys when they don’t talk? -_-
Iron: *to Chosovi and Tallis*I’ll make the long story short: It’s a kind of mind bubble...Well, like, a transparent shiny thingy which Leijona creates around Gan as soon as we tell her “Plan B please! ”
Sheela: Gan can hear everything what’s going on, but we don’t hear what he is saying. Plan A was to gag and tie him up which didn’t really work, so we told Leijona to do something that he couldn’t hear us as long as we need to make another plan, and it took me some seconds to realize that this was the solution.
Leijona: *to Psycho*I think most of the names are random arrangements of letters, but let’s see...
Neila: I don’t know, I just remember that she was named Nira or something when I first decided to give names to my characters years ago. Might be inspired by a character from an old audio drama where one character was named Nila. I think.
Gan: Was Can, a name from a book we once read in school, I just changed the first letter because that sounded more like I wanted it to sound.
Iron: Was from the female Irene, I think (because I like the English pronunciation). So I changed some letters until it sounded somehow like a male name (has nothing to do with the English noun “Iron” though. At least not intentionally.)
Kubiku: Back when none of my characters had a name, I always avoided situations in my daydreams in which the characters would need to call another one by his/her name. When it was necessary though, I just inserted “Kubiku” as a placeholder, no idea why. Later, when I was about to choose names for my characters, I thought that I could as well use Kubiku and since I thought this name was somehow special, I gave it to a special character.
Sheela: The only name out of which I actually made an effort. I even did some brainstorming and tried to find her name in a LD. I wanted the name to begin with “S” and had a slight idea of what it should sound like, then I added random letters until both me and my MCs liked it.
Gan: Word wall!
Neila: Hi alLexX and Ingvar! *to Ingvar* I’m sure we can arrange some pie, right Leijona?
Leijona: “We”? Create the pie yourself instead of expecting me to do that for you, I already made a cake this week.
Neila: No problem, human. *to Ingvar again* What kind of pie were you thinking of? Apple pie?
Gan: Strawberries, I want one with strawberries!
Leijona: Make your own cake then.
Iron: Assuming he is talking about cake, and not pasty, that is.
