Limiting Yourself in LD
PostPosted: Sat 21 Apr, 2012  Reply with quote

I'm new to LD-ing. I've only managed it a few times (one was a WILD though; that was exciting ^^ ), and I'm still trying to be able to make myself move much less fly or any of the other exciting things people talk about. Hence, this question is more for curiosity's sake and future reference.

I've read many topics on how to control your dream and make it do whatever you want, and that's typically what people want from a lucid dream, so this question might seem a little strange. Once you've mastered LD-ing, can you limit the amount of control you have over the events that occur in your dream? For example, let's say I wanted to go on an adventure, like your typical LOTR style quest. It would be no fun if I could just wish bad things away or if I knew what was going to happen around every corner. Is there anyway to place yourself in a sort of setting and let the dream take its course while remaining lucid?

Of course, I know I have not have that much LD's but I do read around a LOT :D Ok so what your asking is if its possible to have a back seat in a LD right and remain lucid even though not in full control or even no control ? Well there's is a article about that on a website because your right it can be fun! copy and paste because it will not let me fit the whole link on for some reason.
here is the link :
