The Sea of Space by Alexander Rommel
In previous NDCs that I hosted, I had trouble coming up with things to say in the task posts. So this time I wrote several fictional stories that fit the task, but deleted them all. I think your dreams will be a far better story than any fiction I write.
So the theme this week is space. I know it’s a common task, but it’s common for a reason. Space is vast, diverse and perfect for adventure and exploration.

You get task points if:
The dream takes place on an alien planet. New planets are some of the coolest environments to explore in dreams. Lots of alien planets in games and movies, if you need inspiration. You could also imagine your own and try to dream of that.
Dream doesn’t take place on any planet. Have a dream in space, fly inside a nebula, walk on a star or ride a comet instead.
You are in a spaceship. They come in all shapes and sizes.
Just to be clear, this is still only one task. In a single dream, doing any of the things listed will be the same as doing all of them. Be bold, dream big and have fun!
I will keep the scores here, and post the totals with each task post. I’ll try to update the scores as often as I can.
That was a cool lucid dream En! It almost turned into a nightmare, clever thinking summoning that healing dragon. First points on the board too, congrats!
20/6/2016 - Fragments and 3 lds, with reality check(s). I’ve never been sure about the rules on chaining, but the 2nd lucid was my version of a DEILD… following several minutes of no-movement awareness meditation and breath control.
Congrats on the lucid dreams. In this challenge chaining is not about chaining lucid dreams with deild, but returning to the same or very similar dream.
Three dreams from last night/this morning, no tasks were done. I’m not sure if the connection between the last two counts as chaining, since I was replaying the previous dream as a VR scene.
Last night I had two NDs. One of which I re-entered twice. I found a new world. It is definitely off-world but I think it is too soon to say I’ve completed any task. LINK TO DJ TBD
OK, so now that my recall is getting up to speed, I am getting LDs. I had two last night. I also did a RC for each LD. I don’t usual RC while dreaming, my lucidity is like a light switch at the moment, as soon as I’m a bit lucid I go all the way. Anyway, I have been testing my recall for the fun of it. I have been waiting a minimum of 15 hours between waking up and writing in my DJ. Doing so has reveled to me a new memory paradox. Alright I think I have typed to much already. Goodnight, and good luck.
