I’m mad at myself. First week is almost over and I had no good sci-fi dreams really, no adventures in space or other planets. 
I wrote dreams down and RCed on wake up, nothing else to report today.

The Great Library: Week 2: Fantasy
you find yourself walking down the narrow hallway to the great library once again with the latest book in hand, and no sooner has your hand touched the door that it is pulled open from the inside by the great librarian, who greets you with a flourish that ends in quickly snatching the book from your hands.
“sixteen books!” she cries, holding it up like a trophy. “come see, come see, seven books in our scifi section alone…” she ushers you over. “and you have been doing so amazing, look at all those dream journal entries, those reality checks, the meditations and goals! everything is so orderly and consistent and i am so proud to be your librarian!” her eyes tear up just a little.
“it looks great in here,” you say, sweeping your eyes over the shelves, which may still look a little sad but are no longer entirely empty. “hold on, i only count fifteen.”
the librarian reddens a little, and you wonder if she is embarrassed that she lost a book or miscounted.
“thats… because…” she begins, and then starts speaking very quickly: “one of the books is on loan because this is a library and that is a very normal thing that libraries do and it is a friend who took out the book but actually she only took it out because she is very interested in book cover design and gold lettering on white is such an interesting choice and actually she hasnt even looked in it.”
“ok great”, you say, glossing over her outburst.
“so anyway, now that youre here”, she begins in her usual brisk tone, “i can inform you that i have prepared the fantasy section of the library. it is now ready to collect any dreams involving magic, wizards, dragons, rings of invisibility, that kind of thing. anything fantasy, really.”
“i know some movies i could binge watch that might help me dream of that!” you say.
the great librarian glares at you.
“or… i could read instead”, you supply.
her glare lessens, but she still seems suspicious.
eager to get off the topic, you decide to ask: “can you still collect scifi dreams as books too?”
“yes, now that we have that section going it will be easier to keep up. it just takes a little love and care to get each section started, and so i hope you will apply yourself diligently to our new task. maybe you will even do some magic yourself!”
this weeks special challenges are:
see magic, a witch/wizard/enchanter, a mythological creature, or magical item in a nonlucid or lucid dream (each thing can be found once per person, multiple at once is fine)
dream a fantasy genre dream (this is in addition to, and separate from, finding any of the four things)
actively do magic, in a lucid or nonlucid dream (can claim points once total)

the librarian raises an eyebrow. “a history book. involving elves. wherever could such a book possibly belong.” her eyebrow arches higher, and after a judgemental pause she places the book firmly next to the hobbit.
[i]“do i want. a book.” her eyebrow reaches new heights. “you are full of quite mysterious questions today.”
she takes a few moments to examine the creepy book. “oh no,” she says with feigned disappointment. “looks like we will have to put this one in the restricted section,” she sighs affectively. “that means only qualified researchers will be allowed to access it, and it wont be allowed to be taken out of the library. what a shame.”[/i]

im actually very surprised how many people are managing to remember them!
we are about halfway through the LC already, and have found 18 books. the librarian was hoping for a nice round three dozen, so we are halfway there! the good news is we are on track, but just barely, so keep up the good effort 
at this rate, it might come down to just one or two books, whether we all win or all lose. so every book counts and everyone has the chance to make a difference!
