Dreaming about visualizing (dream control)

I spend a lot of time visualizing worlds/characters and having little mental (waking) adventures while in a relaxed/meditative state.

So it's no surprise that when I get into lucid dreams, my natural inclination is to control it mentally like I do when I'm visualizing. But instead I end up somehow visualizing what I want in my dream-mind and am still unable to manifest it in the dream itself. And while dreaming about visualizing is quite a strange and interesting experience, it looks like I'll have to explore other methods of actual dream control.

I wonder if there's a way for me to make this work in my favor?

hey . i do that too.
and its just as intense. i call it 'real' daydreaming. its cool
also a tip
when you try to controll it mentally. remember your mind is doint what u do when your awake. aka its daydreaming. so when you try to controll it. you end up daydreaming about daydreaming. soo.
remember your in a dream and daydream wats actually happening.
hard to explain but you get a feel for it
