Avatar limits
If you want a nice image next to your name (it's called an avatar) read this first:
please use an image no larger than 100 x 100 pixels and 10kB filesize.
This means
AND no larger than 100 x 100
AND no larger than 10kB filesize

Sig limits
A SIG is the text that is automatically added at the end of all your messages. Sigs have maximum limits too:
The maximum line length = 4. That means 4 separate lines:
1.
2.
3.
4.
In your sig.
This is to prevent ppl having longer sigs than their messages.
Links in sig
Links in sigs are allowed ONLY within the forum.
For example: links to your DJ, favourite topics, etc.
All other links in sigs are not allowed.
To make it clear: this means no mention of outside URL's as well.
You can link to your own website in your profile.
Furthermore we have the "BIG my website topic", where you can put a link to your own site.
note: the spam rules will apply (eg: no links to a site that is made to make money, or draw customers, gain credits, gain referrals, in what form or shape, links to illegal, warez, violent or sexual content.)
Links that the mods feel are not allowed can be removed without warning.

A sig is comparable with a post message. So any rules that apply in the usual LD4all guidelines also go for signatures.

small update regarding sig length:

yet another update about the sig. From now on other rules apply regarding links in your sig:

Updated guidelines. Since the new layout the new avalimit is 100 x 100 and the sig limit 4 lines. rejoice
