Last night I was in the hypnagogic state and I started to get the familiar heavy feeling. Then, I started to feel numb in my right hand. It progressed slowly to the rest of my hand and up my arm. I figured it was SP. However, it started to feel as if it were aching.. I had to wake myself and move around.. Is this typical of SP? Or should I go to the doctors? :D

I don't think it's something to go to your doctor about. Often when I try to get into SP, it would hurt here and there haha. Unless this aching feeling happens when you aren't in bed then a trip to the doc should be considered. But it sounds like you were starting SP, are you experienced with going into SP?

I'm not experienced with it at all. I only know what I have read. I've only recently discovered lucid dreaming and the different states of sleep.
