Has Anyone Screwed up WILD by Seeing Through Real Eyes?

A couple times before, i've achieved WILD. Ive confirmed that I'm in a dream and i can feel my dream body but Im stuck in my body and can't go anywhere because I can see my room with my real vision (that i thought was dreamscene). So ive made a mental note to make sure that when I get to dreamland that i make sure that i'm not seeing through my real eyes. Today i was able to do WILD and i 'woke' up in a small dorm room or boat cabin and i could see a door ahead. In the time that i was trying to figure out if I was actually seeing a dream or looking at my real-life room, i was ejected. Has anyone had similar experiences?

A good advice is to have a sleeping mask. If something touches your eyes, they will be less likely to open. I personally haven't got a such mask, so I simply put my eyes near a pillow, which does the task of keeping them closed. Current LD goal(s): Have a lightsaber duel with a DC.
