Need info on DEILD
PostPosted: Wed 24 Apr, 2013  Reply with quote

Today I had 2 Lucids but the first one I didn't know what to do and I got the sign of losing the dream that I always get so I laid still without opening my eyes upon awakening but could not fall asleep. This is not the first time it's happened, why can't I DEILD? is the mind too awake in a lucid to fall asleep again?

PS I lost the dream not because I got excited(I didn't) but because I didn't know what to do and did a 2nd RC.

Hey, it's always important to have 1 or 2 goals you want to achieve in a lucid dream so that you won't waste it. If you ever feel the dream fading away, you can prolong it by grabbing ahold of a dream object or spinning, there are many techniques to stay in dreams. DEILD's effectiveness really depends on where you are in your sleep cycle. Perhaps you were at the end of your cycle.
