The BIG "Hi, I'm new here!" Topic XI

Hi Crouching Lotus (great name  )!

Welcome to LD4all! I hope you’ll like it here. Perspective is a bit different than on DV but you’ll get used to that very quickly  Both fora complement each other in an excellent way!

Enjoy your stay! :ok:

Oh before I forget… we actually have a BIG “Hi, I’m new here!” Topic. You can find it here: [The BIG "Hi, I'm new here!" Topic XI)

This is going to sound odd, but what is self-hypnosis?

It’s a method where you actually hypnotize yourself to some extent. This way, a message can penetrate deeper into your subconsciousness, thus may work much better. You can do that by relaxing and focusing your awareness on an intention or an image. You can use counting techniques, and there are even computer programs, such as Brainwave Generator, which facilitate changes in brainwave patterns to activate self hypnosis much faster. All this can help you to become lucid, because this way your intention of becoming lucid can find its way to your sub-c much faster than normal.

Hi akahad! Welcome to LD4all!!

Hahaha indeed Lucidité Fight Club is not anymore about LD but more about spirituality…

You’re right Akahad. Then from now, I’ll call it the “Spirituality Fight Club”.

Self hypnosis is a method where you place your self into a state of hypnosis. You can enter a state that produces the same brain activity as rem sleep and some can even go even deeper than that. If you are interested just do a search on this site for hypnosis and you will find lots of information about it.

Hey everyone…

New to the forums, but not to lucid dreaming – although I’m still VERY much a novice (only 5 so far, hopefully 6 after tonight :ok: )

Lets see… I’m 17, live in Washington and love metal. From death metal like Deicide to softer, progressive stuff like Tool.

Well… That’s about it for now!

Welcome Subtle Chaos

I hope you enjoy the forum.

Congratulations on your lucid dreams and good luck on your 7 th.

Happy dreaming

Thanks milod! I did a search and I learned a lot about it
