I think I did the first task. The dream had a gate that blocked a cave entrance. It was created by two machines, but looked like some sort of magical barrier. It was thin, orange, solid, elastic, transparent and looked like lava or plasma. Hard to say what it was. Nothing that you would find in the real world. It didn’t hurt me, but that doesn’t really tell much.
Holy moley, I swear I checked this thread every week for over a year and the one time I forgot to check it it just blows up. I’m sorry I’m so late for the party. I’ll try to jump in asap. I know I have no chance of winning right now but it still can’t hurt to try and better my dream recall, now can it?
2LD, chained. (I personally count that as one lucid dream, but points wise both chained dreams contained lucid moments so count separately for the challenge.)
If such structures count, I believe I completed task 2 here by visiting Petra, and if toys count, I feel like I used (although late) some futuristic toys in a dream here (specifically, I think about the connected sticks that unpack to a sphere that can be driven).[/spoiler]
Petra contains historic structures that stand as a monument to the past. Yes, it counts. The toy also sounded like it was made of futuristic enough technology that I will count it as a late task.
Sounds like a force field. Force fields are future tech.
New rule for this NDC (I think), Fragments are counted on a per night/per sleep session basis. The intent of this was to avoid the possibility of having so many fragments of dreams in a single that the point gain would outweigh the points of a single cohesively recalled ND/LD. I feel that no amount of fragments in a night is worth more than a well recalled ND or LD.
Will do.
Artwork of tasks completed it always appreciated
I hope that answers any active questions. Feel free to post again or poke me in PM/IRC if I missed something. I had a very busy weekend, so I apologize for being absent. Don’t worry, the next task is on schedule and official scores will be posted sometime later tonight or tomorrow.
